Delhi Welcomes It's 2nd H&M Store


A month after launching in India, H&M - one of the world’s largest fashion retailers, known for offering fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way - opened its second store in New Delhi amid much celebration. The onset of winter did not deter over 500 fashion-lovers, who enthusiastically lined up at Ambience, Vasant Kunj for doors to open.

Cheer took over the mall’s terrace, with fashion lovers joining in the celebrations an evening before the launch. Resonant of the brand’s vibrant culture, H&M fans enjoyed performances by live bands and . The Capital’s most favourite Radio Jockeys RJ Melbin, RJ Alisha, RJ Chris and RJ Priyanka kept the energy flowing as they entertained and interacted with the customers. The first seven fashionistas in queue were rewarded with gift cards of INR 7000 each, followed by the next 300 receiving gift cards of INR 700 each and a limited edition H&M India tote bag.

Janne Einola – Country Manager, H&M Hennes & Mauritz Retail Pvt. Ltd. India; Mikko Alatalo – Area Manager and Richa Negi - Store Manager cut the symbolic red ribbon and welcomed customers into the store, which is spread across 3 levels and over 28,000 sq. ft.
“We are thrilled to be launching our second store today, right at the onset of Diwali. We look forward to welcoming customers who are looking for new fashion inspirations this festive season - for their own wardrobes or to gift to friends and family.” said Mr. Einola.
Presenting a wide selection of latest trends and timeless classics for customers, H&M will offer women’s, men’s, and children apparel and accessories. The store will also launch the Holiday Campaign, starring Katy Perry, this December. Customers can shop at the store every day from 10 AM until 10 PM.

So Delhi Confluence


The first ever So Delhi Confluence was held at Summer House Cafe, Hauz Khas, NewDelhi on 1st of August. The top 200 bloggers (Fashion, Food, Travelling Technology, Lifestyle) and social media influencers and mixed that in with around 100 leading business brands in the country, including HnM, Swatch, ITC, Taj Hotels, Sony, The Body Shop, Fitness First and much more were present in the event.

Introductory Speech by Founder of So Delhi:


The event kick started with a quick introduction by So Delhi Founder and CEO, Digant Sharma, who illuminated the importance of quality content creation and the rapidly-gaining-traction concept of Influencer Marketing.


What followed was a lively introduction of PepperTap - The Grocery App followed by One Touch Response, an emergency app for women on the lines of 911. Fehmida Baba from Roposo enlightened the crowd about India's biggest fashion community and fashion influencer marketing. Team Roposo also organised a fun pop quiz for all the fashionistas in the house, giving away amazing goodies for every right answer.

Violin performance by Bella courtesy of Himalayan Natural Mineral water enthralled and left the crowd speechless throughout especially her version of 'Jai ho' from the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack.

In between all these, free time was given and we were all served light snacks and soft drinks and when the stage was not occupied we get to engage with different people specially as a blogger I got to speak with many brand managers/representatives and me am so glad some people came up to me and appreciated my work. Thanks!!

This was followed bu a sensational introductory stand-up performance by Utsav Chakraborty from the Satan Bhagat fame and the audience were then regaled with Manik Mahna's particularly zestful brand of comedy.

There was a 'Make your Own Sandwich' Counter courtesy of Cremica Foods was set up for guests to make sandwiches with some very unusual concoctions thrown u by them and 3 lucky winners took home big hampers filled with Cremica goodies.

Flipkart launches "Ping"

 Flipkart India’s leading e-commerce marketplace launches ‘Flipkart Ping” a new Social Shopping with your Friends & Family members. Flipkart’s new in-app feature “Ping” is used  to chat with friends while shopping, and share experience using text, photos, emoticons in real time. Flipkart Launches the new #FlipkartPing Feature during Bloggers Meet at F Bar & Lounge, New Delhi.


Taking technology a notch higher to further enhance customer experience, Flipkart, India’s largest online marketplace, announced the launch of ‘Ping’- a brand new ‘social shopping’ experience on the Flipkart app. Using Ping, Flipkart users will get to chat with friends while shopping, and share experience using text, photos, emoticons in real time. 





Shopping is way more than the act of viewing a catalog, selecting a product and buying it at the click of a button and thus, with Ping, Flipkart aims to fundamentally redefine the shopping experience and make it near ‘real life’ in real-time’.

“Ping has been built keeping in perspective the user experience journey of Flipkart customers.  The highly advanced architecture was employed to ensure dynamic traffic surges are handled well. It has also been optimised for efficient results even on slow 2G networks. Ping will also support android wearables where the user can read and reply to messages from their android watches.” said Peeyush.

Why is Blogger better than Wordpress






New blog writers everywhere are faced with a serious dilemma when they first reach the Internet and must decide which blogging platform is best for their new website. 6 tricks to boost your brand's Social Media


Whether you are a multinational giant or a start-up one thing you have in common is the social media platform you use to communicate with your fans.  Be it Facebook or Twitter, your only means to communicate directly with your customers is through social media.  
To use this to your advantage - as easy as may seem, may not come naturally to you.
Here are some simple things to keep in mind while creating your brand's online image and becoming an overnight success, that all the others are talking about

Language
From the very beginning, you need to decide the tonality and language for communication and keep it up throughout.  You may choose the more conventional - straight-faced & scripted method or you may be more quirky and spontaneous.  Whatever you choose, just remember to take it forward, unfailing. 

Personalise
Always remember to personalise any message or comment you make while reaching out to your follower base.  No one like bots, not even the Internet. :)

Response
Nobody likes to wait or be put on hold! Have a hands-on team to respond to all queries, appreciation mails/comments and messages.  People are important, their time is important, be sure to value your customer's time and make them feel special.

Take a Deep Breath

Passion
Passion is the most integral part of a successful social media plan.  You cannot be against something and succeed with it.  If you are not a fan of online communication and are more of a  face-to-face interaction person, do not force yourself to do it, for you will invariably feel burdened by it.
Social Media is the most effective form of communication with customers in today's age and time.  If you can successfully use it to your advantage you will see how cost effective it is and how much you can benefit from it!
